BUN IN THE OVEN

That's right! After almost 7 years of charting, temp taking, doctor after doctor visits, procedure after procedure, we are unexpectedly PREGNANT!

We are still in a state of shock and have yet to be overly excited, but the prospect makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

We will be 12 weeks on Tuesday, giving us an estimated due date of August 31.

To be honest I still have reservations. The doctor doesn't see a problem but we don't get to hear the heart beat until March, I'll be at ease then.

SO this is the story...

In September we went to see our IVF doctor in Spokane.
I was hoping to be in that round of IVF "Series" but they found a "mass" in my stomach and we waited and watched it for a month. I went back the next month and the "mass" had grown to 7cm and was classified as a "tumor", I was scheduled for surgery in November. THEN we decided we'd better take 1 more look and see and the "tumor" had shrunk, well tumors don't shrink so it was reclassified as a "mass". And we missed that "Series" and thought about waiting until March for that round.
I flew back on December 17 to welcome Alexa into the world!
I was good until December 21 or so when I my stomach began to ache! I thought it was an ovarian cyst, I get them often and maybe this one had ruptured? I thought about going to the ER back there but wanted to see my doctor, so I waited.
December 23 Alexa and I returned home. We had a GREAT Christmas at home and on the 27 I was sore, so I dug out a dust covered test for fun, when it read, "YES" I sat down...
I took it down and showed it to Brian...
He said, "Serious? Take another"
We confirmed it with multiple blood tests and 2 ultrasounds.

Like I said, I am still somewhat hesitant, but for now, we are taking it as it comes.

We decided that 12 weeks would be a good time to tell everyone, that is the entrance into the 2nd trimester, but we told a few days early, we went to town today and there is no hiding the fact I am pregnant. If anyone saw us we wanted to be the ones to tell the news :)
