My(Carter) family reunion

I am blessed to have most of my family including grand and great grandparents alive.

I love going home because home is truly where my heart is. My family does have it's moments :)

but they love me anyway lol.

We went for a visit over my birthday and what a great present it was to be with people who know and love me! I got a chance to take my twin sister Monica out for dinner the day after our birthday. We had a ton of fun catching up and visiting!

We visited my Papa and Grandma and had a great visit with them. We also talked cousin Cody into playing baseball and giving rides on the 4wheeler! It was SO fun!
We attended a family reunion for my moms moms side better known as my grandma :)
There was a ton of kids to play with and people to visit that I hadn't seen in 15 years or more!

It was a great visit and I am always sad to head north!

July in a nutshell

I realized it had been almost 3 weeks since my last post! WHOA!
It's not that there isn't anything going on, just too busy or tired to write about it :D

We had an exciting 4th. We started off the day with a parade and you all know how we love parades with homemade ice cream and bbq pork sandwiches YUM!
Brian's brother and his family came up to spend the afternoon/evening. We had a delicious bbq, fun games, and fireworks! The kids went through a CASE of snap pops and a CASE of bubbles :D
(8 kids, oldest was a few weeks older than Halle and the youngest was Parker)

I had a great birthday and the kids loved the party :D

Halle turned 5! She referred to herself as a princess the entire day. She had her 5 year check up and measured off of the scale as usual, a whopping 49 inches tall! She didn't even cry when she got her shots! She wanted to be brave like Sofia :D

Brian and I got a day away just the two of us which was nice!

That's our month so far in a nutshell! We don't have anything planned for the rest of the summer except getting ready for Kindergarten, Preschool, and the arrival of this baby. Life will be boring but we are enjoying the boredom before the chaos hits!

Pictures, A Poo, & LAUGHTER

How silly is it that I am SO excited that Parker had his FIRST unassisted Poo and he is now a month old! WOW where does the time go? HAHA anyway I wanted to share this FUNNY thing. I digital scrapbook and frequent many websites and participate in a lot of challenges making pages and recently I was invited to create layouts for a designer using her products, I'm a Pea Chick! I was SO excited. Brian got home from work and I told him and he said, "That's great seeing how we all know you've had creativity problems, know what I mean?" HAHA I did know! I've been talking for a month about how blocked I am, I can't seem to take a good picture or make a good page! But the way he said it HAHA, what a great laugh I had! Here are a few pictures.
