We flew out this morning and arrived at the hospital at 11 am. We talked with the birthmom for 10 minutes then 6 minutes later he was born!

Here it is 4 in the morning and I am trying to sneak out of the bedroom and down the hall when the door across the hall swings open and there is Halle. You goin now mom? Habe a safe trip, bring me a brother. Maybe I can go next time.It is Daaaark outside, I'd better go to bed, I say boodbye and goodnight and I see you so so so soon. I love you, gimme a hug!

Yesterday Brian and I flew to SLC to meet with our case worker Jodie who took us to Applebees to meet with our Birthmom. She was SO cute. She is 5'0 just like me and has a beautiful smile! She was SO shy! Of course I was sitting next to her just talking her ears off :) and found out she likes Horror movies, cleaning, and shopping! She is from the Southeast and one thing she said that made me laugh was, "I like dogs but I don't want one because it would bite someone and I would get sued." HAHA so matter of fact!
She asked me to be her support person in the delivery room! She is dilated to a 3 and so who knows if we are going to make it to the 29th.
She has an appointment next week and we will know more then!
We had a GREAT weekend!
One of my most memorable moments was when Brian and I were laying on the floor chatting and Payton wiggled in between us, brian rolled over and put his arm around her and she said, "Dad you're killing me!"

So we are counting down to the Due Date! This week we will do something we've never done before. Our agency requires us to fly to Utah and have dinner with the birthmom prior to the babys birth. So we are leaving here on Thursday morning and will fly home Thursday night. WHEW!
We are still on the fence about what to do. We will hopefully find out this week if Brian can stay here and I can go myself so we don't have to take the girls and either take someone or fly someone to SLC to watch the girls on an off for 2 to 3 days. YIKES
Julee our sitter has offered to watch the girls while Brian and I go down, but that is A LOT to ask of someone that has a new baby! She is VERY thoughtful but I worry about putting too much pressure on her...
Decisions. decisions...
Every state is different through adoption laws and in this state after the birthmom signs the papers she has another 90 some hours to change her mind and she did here.
I had little Sydney for the weekend and the social workers came today to take her back...Feeling quiet right now.
I will be heading home in an hour with no babies. I will get to my family at midnight, I have to go pack and will log on in a few hours.
Thank you for all your support on this journey. It really means so much to me!

DEEP BREATHE
I went to the hospital this morning as you know :) she did not end up having a c section, which is GOOD!
I got a call around 7 frim Olivia's birthmom letting me know she changed her mind or is undecided and would let me know tomorrow if she would be keeping the baby or not...how crazy things are right now, I am sitting here with Sydney in the hotel room having just cleaned up a HUGE blow out mess :) and contemplating...to think I have the baby I didn't originally know about and may not have the other...
SO when we wake up from nap Sydney and I will take pictures and post them and I will keep you updated about Olivia!

SOOORRRY I bet you are just chomping for an update and I AM SO exhausted! I made it to the hospital to meet baby surprise or baby #2 :) and have some pictures for you! ALSO baby #1 will be here SOON, I spent the evening with our birthmom inducing labor, watching in facination! She isn't going anywhere as far as labor goes, but the baby is having some stress issues so they are going to take it hopefully natural but if not c-section! I'll keep you updated!
I made it! I flew from Idaho to Seattle WA to Chicago to Iowa where I am right now. I left home at 7 last night and arrived at 7 this morning, but with the two hour time difference it was only a 9 hour trip :)
I am waiting on my luggage...not here yet and its been 4 hours! AYE AYE
I think baby Sydney Lou will be discharged in the morning and I find out this afternoon when they are going to induce so yes, I will stay here for the whole thing! I hope to go visit this afternoon but last time the birthmom didnt want me to until the day of discharge, so I am not sure if I will get to see her today or not :) I'll keep you posted!

We got a call yesterday asking if we would be interested in another placement! The baby came early as in TODAY! I am headed back there now for "baby surprise" and will find out tomorrow when baby #1 will be here, thats right 2-all girls! WOO HOO! I will post here often, right now I am sitting in the airport in Lewiston, my flight leaves in an hour and then I arrive in Seattle, from Seattle I go to Chicago and then to my destination! I will hopefully have pictures tomorrow to post! Baby suprise will be a sister to Sofia! Baby 1 will be a sister to Payton!
Baby Surprise # 2 was born today weighing 7lbs 12oz!

I am SO tired of the middle man! Our agency called today to give me the news for Thursday as THE day but then someone else called later and said that wasn't correct and they would get back to me, still no one has called...HELLO I NEED TO KNOW!
So I called the birthmom myself and we had a very pleasant conversation and she told me that she finds out thursday WHEN they will induce her which will probably be Monday the 14th...
SO I am waiting until thursday to find out the TRUTH and the birthmom said she would call me personally and tell me when...
