Wrapping up August

I can honestly say that summer flew by. It helped that we were more on the go this year than ever and it was also fabulous that we spent more days in the pool during the unusually hot weather and we got to travel mostly to places with pools and can say we are raising a school of fish!

School starts next week. Can you believe it? Halle will be in 2nd grade, Payton will be in 1st grade, Sofia starts Kindergarten A (we plan on sending her to Kindergarten again next year so this year is A and next year is B :) and Parker will go to Preschool 2 days a week!
This means that it will be just Mom and Sydney 2 days a week. It was 7 years ago this Fall when I had just 1 child for any amount of time! I am not sure what we will do with ourselves!

We spent August gardening(hooray for our growing garden, we are all so proud and are enjoying eating the fruits of our labor) seeing family and remodeling the yard. Doesn't sound too fun but we are all in high spirits and there really hasn't been any complaints!

I've been doing a lot of reading but will spare you and that bookworm post for another day :)
